Dean Prater is an accomplished, versatile musician with over 35 years playing experience. He specializes in acoustic, electric and bass guitar instruction and has been providing individual lessons to students of all ages for over 25 years. His own extensive study of guitar and bass, along with a variety of music performance experiences have given Dean a strong foundation for teaching a wide range of music styles: praise/worship, bluegrass, pop, rock, country, blues and jazz. His students range from 5 years to adult, and from beginner to advanced. "A lot of players don't enjoy teaching," Dean says, "But I love it!"

Dean and his wife, Laurie Sue, have been married for 24 years and reside in Little Elm, Texas with their seven children.
